Certain products sold through www.placeholder.com may qualify as connected products under Regulation (EU) 2023/2854 (the "EU Data Act").

Connected Products

Connected products may generate data relating to their use, performance, environment or operation and may communicate such data through an electronic communications service, physical connection or on-device access.

Depending on the product, the manufacturer or provider of a related service may act as the relevant data holder.

Product Data

Where required by the EU Data Act, information relating to data generated by a connected product will be made available to the Customer before purchase, based on information supplied by the manufacturer, data holder or other responsible economic operator.

Such information may include, where applicable:

• the type and format of data generated by the product;
• the estimated volume of such data;
• whether data may be generated continuously or in real time;
• whether and where data are stored;
• how the user may access or retrieve the data; and
• how data may be deleted where such functionality is available.

Role of Moxma

MOXMA S.A.S. DI MORONI CRISTIAN & C. primarily acts as a retailer of products manufactured or supplied by third parties.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, Moxma is not the manufacturer, operator of the connected service or data holder responsible for data generated by a third-party connected product.

Product-specific Data Act information is therefore based on information made available by the relevant manufacturer, service provider or data holder.

Nothing on this page transfers to Moxma obligations that applicable law places on another manufacturer, data holder or service provider.

Data Access Requests

Requests for access to product-generated data may need to be directed to the relevant manufacturer or data holder identified in the product documentation or associated service.

Where Moxma is legally responsible for providing particular pre-contract information, we will provide such information as required by applicable law.

Personal Data

The EU Data Act does not replace applicable data protection law.
