This notice provides information regarding the proper disposal and return of batteries in accordance with applicable European Union and national waste battery legislation.

1. Separate Disposal of Batteries

Batteries must not be disposed of together with unsorted household waste.

End users should dispose of waste batteries separately through authorised collection systems, municipal collection points or other approved battery collection facilities.

2. Free Return of Waste Batteries

Where MOXMA S.A.S. DI MORONI CRISTIAN & C. is legally required to accept the return of waste batteries, such return will be made available free of charge in accordance with the applicable statutory requirements.

The applicable return or collection arrangements may depend on the type of battery, the delivery destination and the collection infrastructure available in the relevant Member State.

Customers wishing to return a waste battery should contact Customer Service before sending any battery to us so that the appropriate legally compliant return or collection method can be provided.

3. Batteries Incorporated in Electrical Devices

Different rules may apply to complete electrical or electronic devices containing built-in batteries.

Such devices should not be dismantled or batteries removed by the Customer unless the product is specifically designed to allow safe removal by the end user.

Complete waste electrical or electronic devices should be disposed of through the appropriate collection and recycling system applicable to electrical and electronic equipment.

4. Safety

Damaged, swollen, leaking or otherwise unsafe batteries must be handled with particular care and must not be shipped without appropriate instructions.

Customers should contact a suitable local collection facility or Customer Service before attempting to send damaged batteries.
